This is an original, rolled, half-sheet theatrical movie poster from 1949 for a theatrical re-release of As You Like It (1936) starring Laurence Olivier, Henry Ainley, Elisabeth Bergner, Sophie Stewart, Stuart Robertson, and Leon Quartermaine. Paul Czinner directed the English romantic comedy loosely based on the play by William Shakespeare.
The poster measures 22” x 28” and is in very good to excellent, unused condition with a tiny tear on the lower-left corner of the white edge. Unlike most half-sheet posters from this era, it has never been folded.
