Beauty and the Beast (1946)

This is an original, French petite movie poster from 2013 for a theatrical re-release of La Belle et la Bete (The Beauty and the Beast) starring Jean Marais, Josette Day, Mila Parely, Nane Germon, Michael Auclair, and Marcel Andre. Jean Cocteau directed the classic French romantic fantasy based on the story by Madame Leprince de Beaumont.  Jean-Denis Malcles is the artist for the poster.

The poster measures 15.75” x 21” and is in very good condition with minimal edge wear and creasing from previous handling.  It was folded at the time of printing but has been stored flat for several years.  The poster will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
