  • Film: How the West Was Won (1962)
Year poster printed: 1964 (first wide theatrical release in the United States)
    Country: United States
    Size: 27 in x 41 in (69 cm x 104 cm)

This is an original one-sheet movie poster from 1964 for How the West Was Won starring Henry Fonda, Carroll Baker, Gregory Peck, John Wayne, Karl Malden, George Peppard, Debbie Reynolds, Jimmy Stewart and Eli Wallach. John Ford, Henry Hathaway and George Marshall directed the western epic.

The international style poster, printed in the US for use in theaters outside the country, measures 27" x 41" and is in very good condition. Like most one-sheet posters printed before 1990, this poster was folded the time of printing. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. The poster has some edge and fold wear and a pinhole separation at the top cross-fold.

Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). This rare and collectible poster, printed in 1964 to promote the Cinerama theatrical release of How the West Was Won, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
