This is an original, rolled, linen-backed, one-sheet movie poster from 1981 for Raiders of the Lost Ark starring Harrison Ford, Karen Allen, Paul Freeman, John Rhys-Davis and Denholm Elliott. Steven Spielberg directed the classic adventure film that began the Indiana Jones franchise. Richard Amsel created the artwork for the poster.
The poster measures 27" x 41" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was in very good condition prior to restoration with scattered, faint creases and minor edge wear from previous handing. It was folded at the time of printing and had minimal fold wear. The folds are much less noticeable after linen-backing. The poster is now in excellent condition. Linen-backed posters are stored flat and will be rolled for shipping in a rigid, tube mailer.
