Film: Wiretapper (1955) Year poster printed: 1956 Country: United States Size: 14 in x 36 in (36 cm x 91 cm)
"The inside story of how the gangsters, the gamblers, and the bookies stay one step ahead of the law!"
This is an original insert movie poster from 1956 for Wiretapper starring Bill Williams Georgia Lee, Richard Benedict, Douglas Kennedy, Stanley Clements, Ric Roman, and Paul Piccerni. Dick Ross directed the film. It is based on a true story of Jim Vaus Jr. who returned from World War II and worked for the police and mobster Mickey Cohen.
The poster measures 14”x 36” and it is in very good to excellent condition. It was folded when printed in 1956 (like most insert posters from that era) and has been stored flat for many years.
The poster features an image of, and a quote from, Reverend Billy Graham from his Los Angeles Crusade of 1949. Jim Vaus was one of those who chose to convert based on the crusade event.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). This collectible poster, printed in 1956 for use in movie theaters to promote Wiretapper, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
