  • Film: Woodstock (1970)
    Year poster printed: 1970
    Country: Italy
    Size (inches): 13.25" x 27.5"
    Artist: Arnold Skolnick

This is a very rare, original Italian locandina movie poster from 1970 for the documentary Woodstock featuring performances by Jimi Hendrix, Joan Baez, Joe Cocker, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Richie Havens, Santana, The Who, Country Joe & the Fish, Arlo Guthrie and Sly & the Family Stone. Michael Wadleigh directed the film and Arnold Skolnick created the iconic poster art.

The poster measures 13.25” x 27.5” and is in good to very good condition with a small amount of tape residue along the top edge of the poster. It was folded when printed back in 1970. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters. The poster has been stored flat for many years and will be shipped securely in a rigid tube mailer. As is typical of many vintage, authentic Italian movie posters, there is a number (11 329) formed from tiny pinholes on towards the top of the poster.

Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). This is an authentic, extremely collectible movie poster printed in Italy and used in a movie theater to promote the 1970 release of Woodstock. It is not a reproduction or a reprint. The small black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets.
