This is an original, Australian movie poster from 1968 for The Beatles animated musical Yellow Submarine featuring music by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The film features the voices of Paul Angelis, John Clive, and Dick Emery. George Dunning directed the film. Heinz Edelmann is the artist/art director for the poster.
This poster was printed in Australia for use in New Zealand. It measures 13.25" x 30" and has been linen-backed for long-term preservation and display. The poster was folded at the time of printing and was in very good condition prior to linen-backing. Prior to preservation, it had pinholes from theatrical display and some surface wear.
