This is an original, rolled, forty by sixty, theatrical movie poster from 1981 for Chariots of Fire starring Ben Cross, Ian Charleson, Nigel Havers, Cheryl Campbell, Alice Krige, John Gielgud, and Ian Holm. Hugh Hudson directed the Academy Award-winning film.
The poster measures 40” x 60” and is in good to very good condition with minor edge wear and light creasing from previous handling. There are two spots of slight discoloration that occurred during the printing in the upper-right and lower left of the poster. It has never been folded. Forty by sixty posters were printed on heavier paper stock compared to one-sheet posters.
Please look closely at the photos (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
This very rare and collectible poster, printed in 1981 to promote the theatrical release of Chariots of Fire, is not a reproduction or a reprint.
