This is an original, one sheet movie poster from 1964 for the initial, theatrical release of Cleopatra starring Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Rex Harrison, Hume Cronyn and Roddy McDowall. Joseph L. Mankiewicz directed the historical epic. Howard Terpning is the artist for the poster. Cleopatra was released in limited theaters in 1963 and had a wider release in early 1964.
The poster measures 27” x 41” and is in very good to excellent condition. It was folded at the time of printing and there is some minor wear and creases along the folds and cross-folds from handing and long-term storage. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying). It is not cropped or a stock image. The black squares in the corners of the poster are magnets and not pins.
