This is an original, three-sheet theatrical movie poster from 1957 for Ernest Hemingway's The Sun Also Rises starring Tyrone Power, Ava Gardner, Mel Ferrer, Errol Flynn and Eddie Albert. Henry King directed the film based on the novel by Ernest Hemingway.
The poster measures 41” x 81” and is in very good condition with a tiny tear in the top edge, some surface scratches at the bottom-right corner, and some light creasing along some of the folds. The poster was printed in three sections that overlap to create a single image. It was folded at the time of printing and has some wear on some of the folds and cross-folds. Most folds flatten out nicely for framing and are often desirable for vintage, collectible movie posters.
Please look closely at the photo (this is the exact poster you are buying and is not a stock image). The black squares in the corners and edges of the poster are magnets and not pins.
